When I first learned about the Strip District, I thought it was just the Terminal. I’ve since learned that the Terminal is but a fraction of the district. There are so many unique and local businesses here, it would take an entire website devoted solely to the Strip to do it justice. You’ll just have to visit to experience it :)

Let’s start at the Terminal and with – what else? – food: Novo Asian Food Hall.

This food hall offers cuisines from Korea, Japan, Vietnam, China, and the Philippines. At the center of the hall is a bar that offers unique drinks and alcohol from Asia, such as 소주(soju), sake, and Japanese beer. It’s a great vibe, with people from all walks of life eating, drinking, working, and meeting here.

I’m in the process of eating at every food stall. There’s a few I’ve hit more than once.

Tiger’s vet is at the Terminal. What sold me about PetVet365 is that the waiting rooms are designed like a typical living room, with couches, rugs, TV, and toys. They’re also specific for cats or dogs (no cross pollination!). The initial exams are all done in these living room style exam rooms. It made Tiger less anxious.

This is Tiger. This is the face he makes when he smells chicken cooking and is mad it hasn’t cooked already so he can eat some. Also known as a very spoiled cat.

Another fave spot in the Terminal is Clean Your Dirty Face. I now get 30-minute facials twice a month, and my skin has never looked better! Who knew one didn’t need an hour plus to have fabulous facial skin? I also love that the products use as much natural ingredients as possible. That’s a win-win in my book.

Riches in other cuisines, groceries, and general merchandise exist outside the Terminal, of course. A must-visit is the Pennsylvania Macaroni Store. The selection of products is mind-boggling. There’s a large, separate “hall” for meats and cheeses. I can’t think of anything the store doesn’t sell!

That’s about it for now with this first post about the Strip District. There will be additional parts coming up in the future.

What is your go-to spot that has lots of your faves in one location? What keeps you returning there, time after time?
